J.Crew Crewcuts On Madison Displays Whimsical Foil Sculptures From LAND

If you have been to J.Crew’s Crewcuts store on Madison Avenue in New York City recently, you may have noticed their aluminum foil sculptures on display.

Crewcuts stylist came across these whimsical critters in the window of Brooklyn’s LAND gallery, a program established by THE LEAGUE TREATMENT CENTER, a nonprofit organization that treats, educates and provides creative opportunities to over 500 inner-city children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Dean Millien is one of LAND’s gifted artists who has always looked to the animal kingdom for inspiration, Crafting everything from itsy-bitsy spiders to two-foot-tall giraffes. The LAND gallery allowed Crewcuts to borrow a selection of the limited edition animal pieces. Since their relocation to Crewcuts Madison Avenue store, these critters have been creating quite a buzz!
