Mustela Stelatopia Milky Bath Oil: Diminishes Eczema Flare-ups & Soothes Baby’s Skin

Mustela Stelatopia, Milky Bath Oil is amazing! Formulated especially for sensitive, eczema-prone and babies, this oil quickly soothes and nourishes without any irritation or oily films. A very mild cleansing agent (phospholipids), is used along with a combination of plant oils and Sunflower oil distillate. My eldest daughter has experienced bouts of dry skin and eczema due to her allergies, and this eliminated the bumpy dryness on her legs after one bath. There was no oily sheen or film left on her skin either, it was left moisturized and hydrated.

This is definitely not just for babies! I have used this oil in my baths and am completely hooked. My skin is softer than ever and I no longer have that sticky oily residue left that so many bath oils tend to leave behind.

This formula was tested under dermatological control and in pediatricians’ offices. Used regularly, it helps to diminish the frequency and intensity of flare-ups. The main ingredients include: Sunflower Oil Distillate, Sweet Almond Oil, Mineral Oil and Chamomile Oil.

Other features:

* Soap-free
* Water soluble (requiring no rinsing)
* Does not leave any oily film
* Fragrance-free
* Paraben-free
* Colorant-free

I was just introduced to Mustela’s products and from my experience with this bath oil and a body cream which I will be reviewing shortly, I am more than impressed. It’s no wonder celebrity moms are fans! Mustela was created in 1950 by Expanscience Laboratories in France, a lab which specializes in dermatology and dermo-cosmetics.

You can purchase this from Amazon.com for $14.52 on sale, or you can visit Mustela for a retailer in your area.

Suggested retail price for 8.4 US fl. oz – $17.50 USD/21.50 CDN.
