The Spring-Summer 2010 collection from Timberland is a tribute to nature. With outdoor themes, water-sports and outdoor imagery evoking summer camps, this new collection is a smart blend of modern and authentic.

The Earthkeepers line was designed using natural materials  (linen, organic cotton), prints produced with organic inks and treatments, contributing to Timberland’s strong commitment in curbing our ecological footprint. The pledge is also clear on the T-shirts: “Switch off the lights” and “Act for the planet: 1, 2, 3, Go!”. The emblematic trademark tree appears as pixelated.

Cotton/linen denim Bermuda shorts, woven and dyed checkered shirts, coated and oiled cotton parkas, lots of denim and revamped seasonal essentials, such as a twill jacket with checkered lining, a five-pocket denim blue-black dyed or a poplin shirt with a stripes and check mix can all be found in the boys Spring line.

As we’ve seen in many other collections this season, simple shades of black, khaki, white and grey marl, with sky-blue and berry-red tones bring these pieces to life!

The imagery on clothes for younger children is a wink at toddler pirates with a revisited “Tree” logo while flags, badges and numbers are reminiscent of the markings of sailboats. A maxi-gingham headscarf adds a pulsating, masculine touch.

For Midsummer:

A break on the beach, by the water, during the scorching summer days… with an array of cooling colours (cactus green, celadon, indigo blue and touches of zest yellow, which look their best on pure white bases). The pop motifs are there to invite you to chill out and tune into nature: “Feel cool with Timberland” and “Be in line with elements” are two of the captions.

This line is all about relaxing: ultra smooth multicoloured over-dyed checked Bermuda shorts, bleached chambray shirts and sailor’s sunhats, and jersey-lined ribstop jackets for the ultimate comfort.

Sizes are available for newborns: 1-18 months, infants: 3 months-4 years and kids: 2-16 years.
