If you are looking for unique cantfindanywhereelse exclusives, giggle is proving to be your best bet. Not only do they sell many product exclusives from well known brands, they just introduced their two new exclusive stroller styles from Bugaboo. Yesterday, they announced the addition of the bloom ZEN CMYK Stroller ($799) which could very well be the most eye-popping of the season!
In a colorway that looks incredibly similar to giggle’s trademark colors, the new CMYK Zen from bloom is as stylish and fresh as it is practical. This all-terrain stroller boasts a cutting edge fold design making it super slim for storing in tight spaces and freestanding when folded flat. Although I have yet to test it out, this seems as though it would be an excellent travel stroller! The new Zen also features a first-of-its-kind solar lighting system that allows you to shine a light beam or flash hazards for additional safety. The fabric is breathable, stain-resistant and the cushion is reversible.

This afternoon Britax issued a voluntary recall for the Chaperone Infant Car Seat in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Transport Canada. No injuries have been reported so far however Britax has announced that the rivet used to attach the harness adjuster to the shell may have been improperly installed.
“The harness adjuster on the Britax Chaperone ensures that the harness straps can be properly tightened and secured over the infant’s shoulders and is attached to the infant car seat shell. As a result, the harness adjuster may detach from the shell. Should the harness adjuster detach from the infant car seat shell, the harness straps will not properly secure the child, resulting in increased risk of injury in a vehicle crash.”
Affected models were manufactured between September 1, 2010 and April 30, 2011, and include the following model numbers: E9L692J, E9L692K, E9L692L, E9L692M, E9L952J, E9L952K, and E9L952L.
Britax is addressing this issue by providing a remedy kit which includes a harness adjuster kit and instructions for properly installing it. All CHAPERONE Infant Car Seat owners should confirm whether their child restraint is affected by verifying the date of manufacture and model number. No later than February 6, 2012, remedy kits and instructions for using them will begin shipping to all registered CHAPERONE Infant Car Seat owners with affected seats.
In the meantime, if your harness adjuster on your Chaperone Infant Car Seat detaches, you should immediately discontinue use of the product until your remedy kit arrives and the harness adjuster is replaced. If the harness adjuster on your seat is securely attached to the seat shell, it is safe to continue using the seat until your remedy kit arrives.
To register your product or to verify your existing registration information, please contact the BRITAX information line, toll free at 888-427-4289 between 8:30 am – 4:45 pm (EST) Monday – Thursday, and between 8:30 am – 3:45 pm (EST) on Friday or visit http://www.britaxusa.com/registration (USA) or http://www.britax.ca/registration (Canada).

If you know me personally you will already know that I am basically a health freak. Yes, I said it
. 90% of all the food we eat is made from scratch, I am an advocate for whole foods and feed my kids green smoothies and juices on a daily basis.
That being said there is a brand that I trust when I need a quick snack that is healthy and doesn’t require me getting dishes dirty. Kashi. This company is one that has a great track record for providing great tasting, nutritious foods that help people add nutrients to their diet. This month, Kashi is introducing three new products to their fantastic line-up of cereals and healthy snacks. I was planning on taking pictures of the products first-hand, but we were too busy eating them all to remember.
I will admit I was hesitant to try the new Toasted Cinnamon Crisp Cereal because of the sugar content, however this one is not bad at all. Unlike sugary boxed cereals, this one is rich in protein, whole grains, fibre and is low in sugar and saturated fat. Each 3/4 cup serving provides 9 grams of fibre, 10 grams of protein, 19 grams of whole grain and 5 essential nutrients. The kids loved it as did I.

My heart skipped a beat when I laid eyes on these beautiful baby shoes from Sonatina. Lena Aboo is the designer of these stunning little creations, and you’ll never guess where her inspiration came from – YouTube!Lena became inspired to create her own line of miniature baby shoes after watching a video of an Indian shoemaker create a piece of footwear out of the leather from a skirt found in her mother’s wardrobe.

With the use of a sewing machine and apiece of leather, Lena created her very first mini shoe. Each one of these incredible creations are made from nappa leather and you’ll notice most of them are influenced by the ’30′s, ’40′s and dance.
If you live in the United States you can purchase these cute shoes through Sonatina’s online shop. The line isn’t available in-store in the United States or Canada yet, but can be purchased through a wide range of retailers in Italy as well as a couple of locations in Turkey, Taiwan and Russia.

Last week Jessica Alba, Christopher Gavigan, Brian Lee and Sean Kane announced the launch of their brand new eco-friendly company called The Honest Company during a posh event hosted by my friend Nicole Feliciano, Founder & Editor of Mom Trends.
The company has an interesting concept, they have put together an eco-friendly line of family essentials and are offering them through a monthly subscription service at Honest.com. Jessica Alba, like most of us was frustrated with the lack of eco-friendly options and took matters into her own hands.
Teaming up with renowned environmentalist, author, and former Healthy Child Healthy World CEO dad Christopher Gavigan, ShoeDazzle.com founder Brian Lee and PriceGrabber.com executive Sean Kane, they set out to create healthy, innovative and affordable products such as diapers, wipes, bath/skin care and household cleaning products. The line is made from natural, non-toxic ingredients and are then curated into personalized bundles that are automatically shipped every month.

The one thing that I don’t like is bringing a ton of gear or products with me when traveling, in fact – we travel so much as a family now that I think we have the the art of packing lightly down pat. There is nothing worse than carrying a child and being bogged down by a heavy diaper bag or countless bags of luggage!
I was recently introduced to Splendipity, a mom-owned company who has taken the car seat cover and universalized it making it an all-in-one travel product for families. This universal cover is made from organic cotton and feels incredibly soft to the touch. It is sized generously and can be used in a multitude of different ways. [click to continue…]
